“Asher in Action” is a new community service initiative at Asher Houses around the country. Asher students, House Managers, Local Advisory Council members, alumni, friends and family are invited to participate in a local community service project that supports the idea of “home.”

Work may include laying pathways, harvesting the gardens, tending the chicken coop, prepping micro-homes for new neighbors, or beautifying the property.
Participants will get one of our new ASHER IN ACTION t-shirts! 🙂

WHAT IS COMMUNITY FIRST! VILLAGE?
Community First! Village is a 27-acre community that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for homeless in Central Texas. The transformative residential program exists to love and serve our neighbors who have been living on the streets, while also empowering the surrounding community into a lifestyle of service with the homeless. Find out more about Community First! Village at mlf.org/community-first/.
We are excited about this project and hope you will join us!
Feel free to invite your families and friends!
