Christian Science Lecture: First Church, New Braunfels is hosting a Christian Science lecture entitled “Conflict Resolution, a Spiritual Approach” by John Tyler, C.S.B. to be given at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 16 at the Courtyard by Marriott New Braunfels River Village.
The Spiritual Dimension of Care Seminar: On Saturday, September 24 the Houston Visiting Christian Science Nurse Service is hosting an all-day event (10 am – 5 pm) at 4th Church, Houston, 4910 Montrose Blvd, Houston TX 77006. If you would like to know more about this vital role in the Christian Science movement or would like to take steps towards becoming a Christian Science nurse, then this is the meeting for you! The seminar is entitled, “The Spiritual Dimension of Care.” It will be run by three current and former Christian Science nurses and will include a talk on the history of Christian Science nursing. Third Church of Christ, Scientist, Austin will be sponsoring a Lecture on Saturday, March 19th at 3PM at Esther’s Follies, 525 E. 6th Street. The lecture entitled Divine Love the answer to Universal health will be given by Jose de Dios Mata. The St. James Missionary Baptist Choir will perform after the talk.
There will be shuttle service provided from the parking lot of First Church (1309 Guadalupe) over to Esther’s Follies. We recognize that the parking lot is not necessarily available for parking but, if someone finds parking and gets to the First Church parking lot, we can give them a lift over to the lecture.

READING ROOM OPEN – NO PARKING
The Reading Room at 102 Trinity will be open Monday – Thursday 10 am – 2 pm, and Friday 10 am – 4 pm for walking visitors and customers. Trinity Street will be closed to traffic from March 11th – March 20th. The parking lot behind the Reading Room is leased out for SXSW, so is not available to us for parking.
FIRST CHURCH PARKING
The parking lot across from the front of First Church will be blocked off for the entire week. This is the new headquarters for SXSW and will not be available during our Wednesday evening or Sunday services from March 11 – March 21.
