The 2017 ANNUAL MEETING of THE MOTHER CHURCH will be SHOWN LIVE IN THE SUNDAY SCHOOL OF OUR CHURCH
this year, on  Monday, June 5, Noon – 1:30 CDT.

If you cannot go to Boston, we’d love to have you join us at our church (1309 Guadalupe, 78701) for the live webcast.

Preparation for Annual Meeting:

The Record of Truth for April is now available for listening. Prepare for this year’s Annual Meeting as you hear the Christian Science Board of Directors share thoughts on the meeting’s theme, “Let us feel the divine energy of Spirit, bringing us into newness of life . . . ” (Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 249).

New Mini-Series- Is hatred inevitable? Does it really have the power in our world that it seems to have? The new JSH-Online mini series “Conquering hate, enthroning peace” aims to answer those questions. Pieces from this series will be featured in the carousel on the JSH-Online homepage. Read the first selection of this series, “Love’s triumph over hate”.

Going somewhere? Take issues of The Christian Science JournalSentinel, and Herald with you wherever you go. Various formats of current issues can be downloaded within the first 90 days of their release. You can even download full issue audio for Journal and Sentinel issues. Click the “Download Options” button inside the table of contents of an issue to select the perfect issue format for your trip.

News about our Bound Volumes – First Church Sunday School is providing a temporary home for our bound volumes of periodicals while in the church.  The Journals and Sentinels are in bookcases readily accessible in the classroom where you can sit and read during regular church hours.   Lots of gratitude to the volunteers that made this possible!

NEW!  Want to use your credit card to make a Reading Room item purchase at church on Sunday?  Now you can!  Our Librarian, Sheri Deibert, can run your card on Paypal.
